Picture of Spinster for Family

Here's the family including Spinster, who's concerned about some blood on the side of #16.
It's nice to have a sterile field everywhere we go, isn't it?

It's a Girl for #16

#16 gave birth this afternoon to Bessy, a beautiful baby doeling.
Grandfather got into town just in time for the big event. Gee, I wonder if he brought candy. I guess that the goats think so anyway.

Betty's Eggs are People Now

Betty had 5 children this week. They're fine. And cute.

After the Store

The girls visited their friend at her new store today. While they were there, they got price tags. Apparently Katie is worth $425.
You can see how the weather is. And has been. For days.
It'll be green when it's over though.

I'm feeling worse than I did yesterday, but hoping for a better day tomorrow.

Happy Spongebob Birthday, Kate!

Katie got a Barbie and a Spongebob cake and is going to bed as an 8 year old for the very first time.

Where I've Been Instead of Blogging,Part 2

I thought I had appendicitis on Saturday, so I went to the ER in Farmville.
Turns out it was an ectopic pregnancy.
Dr. Thomas Basco and Dr. Joseph Browning both worked hard to straighten out my insides.
They went above and beyond any possible standard of care. I doubt that there are any better doctors in the entire world than these two.
The nurses and the rest of the staff, down to the housekeeper, were equally helpful and caring.
I'm home and comfortable now. Glad to be alive!
