Snow!

Miss L was up bright and early, hitting the trail with the camera.
She found rabbit tracks, fresh deer tracks, a cardinal, and a squirrel today.

The Beaver Construction Project Update

The beavers are still hard at work, damming up Cub Creek.
We want to get a wildlife camera, then maybe you and I can get a glimpse of the real thing, rather than just the evidence.
If you look closly, there's a chopped down tree in the center of the photo.

The Pigs

These guys are getting to be more fun every day.
Are you worried that we're going to have pet hogs instead of a full freezer? You should be.

Flick the Wonder Dog

Flick is stone deaf and has Alzheimer's disease- or something similar. But add two baby aspirin, and you've got yourself a working Border Collie again.

63 Degrees Today

Here's the very place that we had our fire at Thanksgiving time. It's bleak and lonely without the whole gang.
Every kid in the neighborhood is out, petting the horses in the balmy weather.

The Question on Everyone's Mind...

Is there snow in these clouds?
There's a 16% chance of snow overnight, but who's counting?

What Happens When Southerners Go Sledding?

Yep, that's right, ambulance rides!
And no heart attacks, mind you, because they use John Deere tractors (with cabs) to pull them back up the hill!!
What were we thinking back up there in PGH, sledding without an ambulance standing by. And walking back up by ourselves?
Three people were taken away by ambulance tonight.
But those of us who lived had a great time!
